With everybody rushing about these days it’s easy to forget to take care of the essentials. Protect your skin. Put on the sunscreen. Make it part of your morning routine. It comes in lotions, creams, sprays and powders. You can get it in your make-up. It’s easy to use but you gotta use it for it to work. Make sure you send it to camp with your kids. Teach them to use it early and that it’s cool to have nice looking skin when they are older. Higher SPF is better to a point but even SPF of 15 is very good as long as you get it on your skin. The damaging ultraviolet rays from the sun, which you can’t see, breaks down the collagen in your skin. It damages the cells in your skin and over time your skin looses it’s smoothness and elasticity. Not to mention that there is a rise in skin cancer.
So do yourself a favor and put on the sunscreen this weekend. Happy 4th.
