Rhinoplasty is one of the most difficult cosmetic procedures to perform and not all plastic surgeons perform them, let alone specialize in them. Rhinoplasty happens to be Dr. Schuster’s favorite surgery to perform.
“Rhinoplasty combines all of the things I love about plastic surgery. It is very detailed with a lot of small parts that can be independently changed but have a large effect on the whole. It also has a tremendous impact on patients who, prior to surgery, feel very self-conscious about their nose and appearance. Once they love their nose they feel confident and content.” Says Dr. Schuster.
“Price Shopping” Rhinoplasty Surgeons
We value transparency and understand that price is a major deciding factor when choosing a plastic surgeon for rhinoplasty. We also want to make sure our patients place more value on the surgical outcomes rather than price. We want our potential patients to invest in themselves by choosing surgeons that are experts in their field rather than going to a surgeon with “the best price”. Ask yourself “Are you more concerned about the price or the results?”
We want to make sure that when patients compare other surgeons’ pricing that they are getting all the fees upfront and that they are “comparing apples to apples”.
For example:
- Some practices quote pricing over the phone or advertise the surgeon’s fees ONLY. Then, once a patient is in the office, they discover more hidden fees.
- Some surgeons’ prices are lower because they operate in their own surgical “suites” where they can cut the costs. However, the facility may not have to meet the high safety standards required in hospitals and accredited surgicenters.
- Some surgeons don’t have the same credentials or experience.

The Importance of Your Rhinoplasty Consultation
During a personal consultation, Dr. Schuster thoroughly examines the patient’s nose (both inside and out) to determine exactly what needs to be done while listening to their concerns and ultimate goals. He takes photos and draws to collaborate with the patient and make sure they are on the same page. Then, the patient receives a customized rhinoplasty quote from the surgical coordinator who reviews it with them in detail.
“Everyone’s nose is very different,” says Dr. Schuster, “and so are their surgical goals. Rhinoplasty is not a one size-fits-all, cookie cutter, type of surgery.”
While it’s hard to “quote prices” without seeing a patient, here are some example price ranges a rhinoplasty patient can expect. The rhinoplasty price ranges include ALL FEES (Dr. Schuster’s surgical fees, the operating room costs, the anesthesiologist’s fees, and all pre and post-op appointments):
- “Standard” Rhinoplasty price range: $10,800 – $13,000
- “Extensive” Rhinoplasty price range: $13,000 – $17,000 (These rhinoplasties are more complex cases that involve extensive work such as grafting which is taken from the ear or rib.)
Dr. Schuster is competitively priced with other board-certified rhinoplasty specialists with his experience.
