Sculptra is a relatively new type of filler that is used for facial rejuvenation. Sculptra works differently than other fillers. Sculptra is a gradual process that stimulates the body to form collagen. As the collagen is made, it creates more volume within the face. As volume increases the face appears more youthful. It typically takes 3-4 visits, performed 4-6 weeks apart in order to achieve the desired results. Sculptra does not “lift” or “pull” but works to help fill and support the soft tissues of the face.
