Rhinoplasty for Out-of-State Patients

rhinoplasty before and after images

Thousands of providers offer rhinoplasty surgery. After all, nose reshaping is the top cosmetic procedure in America, with over 352,000 operations performed in 2020. However, just because you can go to your nearest doctor to get a nose job, doesn’t mean you should.

Many surgeons agree that rhinoplasty is one of the most challenging cosmetic procedures. The nose is a complex three-dimensional shape and the most prominent facial feature. Changes made during this surgery are small — often measured in millimeters — but have a big impact on both the look and function of the nose. That aspect means there’s little to no room for error.

Achieving flattering results from nose reshaping requires a blend of art, science, and skill. The surgeon must tailor the procedure to the needs of the patient and their unique facial anatomy.

Typically, you will only get this treatment from a board-certified plastic surgeon with years of experience. You may not be able to find someone in your area who is qualified enough to trust with your appearance. In that case, it’s worth traveling out of state for rhinoplasty surgery.

Dr. Ronald Schuster is a board-certified plastic surgeon who has been performing rhinoplasty procedures for nearly 30 years. Rhinoplasty is Dr. Schuster’s favorite surgery to perform and not many surgeons can say that due to its complexity. He uses the safest and most up-to-date nose surgery techniques to create exceptional results. We invite you to view our before and after gallery

Traveling for Cosmetic Nose Surgery

Many patients travel from all over the world to get a rhinoplasty by Dr. Ronald Schuster. Our team created a comprehensive guide that tells you where to stay and eat in the area. It also provides you with directions to our office in Baltimore. We are available to help with other logistics such as travel with a friend or family member.  You should expect to remain in town before and after surgery (typically,  six to seven days ) until the cast on top of the nose and the stents inside the nose are removed and you have been cleared to travel. We are happy to cater to patients who travel to our practice for rhinoplasty.
